  • Oregon Community Earth Day Collection

    On June 16, from 9 AM - 12 PM, residents of the City of Oregon and Harborview are welcome to bring their unwanted oil based paint, gasoline, adhesives, driveway sealers, automotive products, batteries, household cleaners, pesticides, fungicides, fluorescent light bulbs, and tires (limit four per household) to the Oregon Municipal Building with proof of residence.   • Road Closure: Pickle Road between Coy Road and Lallendorf Road

    Beginning the week of March 12, 2018 through approximately Friday, April 27, 2018, motorists can expect to experience daily road closures during working hours.  The closure is necessary to permit Miller Brothers Construction, Inc. to replace the storm sewer along the south side of Pickle Road. During working hours, the contractor will close Pickle Road to through traffic and will be responsible for maintaining one lane of traffic for local traffic only through the work zone by the use of temporary traffic signal or flaggers.  Due to the nature of the project, we ask that you avoid driving through the construction operation area as much as possible. Unless notified otherwise, access to driveways within the work zone will be available at all times.

    The designated detour route for all through vehicles shall be: Lallendorf Road to Navarre Avenue to Coy Road.

    This work is expected to be completed by Friday, April 27, 2018.

  • Road Closure: Grasser St. between Navarre and Munding

    Beginning Wednesday, February 21, 2018 through approximately Friday, April 27, 2018, Grasser Street between Navarre Avenue and Munding Street Drive will be closed to through traffic. The road closure is necessary to replace the existing sanitary sewer and waterline along Grasser Street.  Following the utility work, the existing roadway and curbs will be replaced.  Due to the nature of the work, portions of the roadway may need to be completely closed.  Traffic should avoid driving through the construction zone as much as possible. The entrance drives to the homes within the closure area will remain open throughout the closure period, unless otherwise notified.  Parking along the roadway will not be permitted during the contractors working hours. This work is expected to be completed by Friday, April 27, 2018.
