Recreation

skateparkThe Oregon Parks and Recreation Department attempts to serve the needs of the City of Oregon residents and students within the Oregon School district.

The Department consists of a full-time director, program coordinator and secretary. In addition, seasonal personnel are hired to supervise recreation venues, keep score, maintain grounds and concession operations.  The department operates from a Recreation Levy and is subsidized from the City of Oregon's General Fund.  Additional revenues are raised through donations, program fees and concession operations.

tballOur summer program allows more than 1400 youths from pre-kindergarten through high school to participate in t-ball, coach pitch, baseball, softball and high school co-ed softball.
