The steel bowl was raised on the elevated tank May 6th. The contractor will finish assembling and painting the steel bowl by the end of June 2010. Additional interior mechanical and electrical work along with site utility work will also need to be performed. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2010. The City of Oregon is receiving funding assistance through the Ohio Public Works Commission State Issue 2 Program and the Ohio EPA Water Supply Revolving Loan Program to construct the new 2.0 Million-Gallon composite elevated water tank at the southeast corner of Lallendorf Road and Lallendorf Road Relocated.
The new elevated tank is needed to provide adequate finished water storage to meet projected water demands and to allow the existing Coy Road Elevated Tank to be taken out of service for maintenance and repainting. The project will also involve site improvements including waterline connections, sanitary connection, storm drainage, drive access, fencing, and miscellaneous utility connections. The proposed Work consists of:
The general contractor for the project is CB & I Constructors, Inc., Blaymore II, Suite 201, 1603 Carmody Ct., Sewickley, PA 15143. The site improvement subcontractor for the project is Downing Construction Company, 4495 Blacklick Eastern Road, Baltimore, Ohio 43105 and the electrical contractor for the project is T.A.S., Inc., 433 Dearborn Avenue, Toledo, OH 43605.

The 52 ft diameter concrete support structure was completed in mid September 2009. A total of thirteen wall section concrete pours and one ring beam concrete pour were completed to reach the 109 ft height for the support structure. A total of approximately 720 cubic yards of concrete was poured for the support structure. 
The City of Oregon has hired ARCADIS U.S., Inc., One Lake Erie Center, 600 Jefferson Avenue, Suite 400, Toledo, Ohio 43604 to provide a part-time project representative for the project.
