The City of Oregon has successfully competed for a FY 2010 Community Housing Improvement (CHIP) grant award.  Under this program, the City of Oregon will provide the following services:

*Private Owner Rehabilitation Assistance to five households meeting HUD income requirements.  Priority will be given to households located within the Olivewood/Van Buren target area.

*Home Repair Assistance will be provided to nine households.  Priority will be given to households located within the Olivewood/Van Buren target area.

*Sixteen renter households will receive Tenant Based Rental Assistance subsidies, facilitated by the Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority.
