Councilwoman
Sandy Bihn

Sandy Bihn has served the Oregon community as a member of Council, Clerk Auditor, Tax Commissioner and Finance Director.  Currently she is chairman of the Water and Sewer Committee and serves on both the Finance Committee and the Public Utilities & Environmental Committee.  In addition to City Council, she is the President of the Toledo Lighthouse Society,  an all volunteer organization, that works on restoration and lighthouse promotion.  She also is the Executive Director of the Western Lake Erie Waterkeeper Association which works on the waters and fish of Western Lake Erie.  Sandy is also a member of many historical and water related organizations including the Oregon Jerusalem Historical Society.

Born in Toledo, Sandy received her undergraduate degree at the University of Toledo with studies also at the University of Delaware and Ohio University.  She went on to receive a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Toledo as well.

Sandy and her husband Frank have 2 children: Martin (Carrie) Bihn, Ginger (Eric) Coss and 2 grandchildren: Adam and Noah.

Jerry Peach

Jerry Peach is the longest serving member of the Oregon City Council.  First elected in 1987, he is a past President of Council.  He currently serves as Chairman of the Economic Development & Planning Committee and also serves on the Finance Committee, as well as the Safety (Police and Fire) Committee.

A graduate of the University of Toledo, Mr. Peach holds both a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Education Degree. He is one of three city representatives to the Oregon on the Bay Regional Economic Development Foundation.

Terry Reeves

Terry Reeves is serving his second term on Oregon City Council. He is Chairman of the Recreation & Parks Committee and serves on both the Public Utilities & Environmental and the Drainage, Roads, Buildings and Lands Committee.

Terry is a special education teacher in the Toledo Public School System. He graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School in 1977 and is a life long resident of Oregon.

James S. Seaman

Jim Seaman has been a member of Oregon City Council since 1989, and from 1995-1997, he served as Council President. He currently serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee and serves on the Safety (Police and Fire) and the Economic Development & Planning Committees. He is the City's representative to the Lucas County Improvement Corporation, Hancock Senior Citizen's Board of Trustees, volunteers for the Oregon Christmas Basket Program and helps raise money through the Oregonian Club for high school scholarships.

Jim was born in Zanesville, Ohio and raised in Fremont, Ohio.  He graduated from Fremont St. Joseph's High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and earned varsity letters in football and wrestling.  He attended the University of Toledo and graduated with his Bachelor's in 1972.  He was awarded an internship in school psychology through the Lucas County Board of Education in 1975 and accepted into the University of Toledo's Doctoral program where he earned a Doctorate Degree in 1981. Jim was elected to the Oregon School Board in 1979 and chosen president by fellow board members in 1982.

For two years he taught high school and coached football, wrestling and girl's softball in Maumee, Ohio. He has been a school psychologist in the Toledo Public Schools for the last 22 years.

Jim and his wife Najah (Haddad) have made their home in Oregon for the last 30 years. They have two children, Jamie and Samantha.

Michael P. Sheehy

Michael P. Sheehy is serving his ninth term on Oregon City Council. He is Chairman of the Public Utilities & Environmental Committee and serves on both the Recreation/Parks Committee and Safety (Police and Fire) Committee.

A long time resident, Mike graduated from Oregon's Cardinal Stritch High School in 1966, where he distinguished himself as a student leader and athlete.  Upon graduation from the Arts and Science College of the University of Toledo.  Mike was commissioned as a U.S. Army Officer.  He served and was decorated during the Viet Nam War era.

Mike has been employed with CSX Railroad for 38 years as Road Freight Conductor, Yard Foreman, and as an instructor in the Conductor Training Program.

Mike and his wife Sandy have four children:  Hugh, Katie, Beth and Thomas.  His memberships include St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Oregonian Club; Lucas County Democrats, University of Toledo Alumni Association, United Transportation Union, American Legion Dunberger Post, Friends of Pearson Park, WGTE Public Television, Clay and Stritch Boosters and the American Turners.

Thomas A. Susor

Tom Susor is serving his 5th term on Oregon City Council. He previously served for 8 years from 1983 thru 1991. In addition, he is chairman of the Water and Sewer Committee and serves on both the Drainage, Roads, Buildings and Lands Committee and the Public Utilities and Environmental Committees.

Tom is an electrical contractor serving as the operations manager for TAS, Inc. He is married to his wife of 42 years Sandy (Evonek) Susor and the father of three adult children son Tom Jr. & Gina Susor; daughter Tammy & Andy D’Amore and daughter Tonya & Mike McGee. Tom has eight grandchildren all attending the Oregon School System. Tom has worked in the electrical industry and been a member of the IBEW since 1967. Tom and his family are members of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

Tom has been civically involved throughout his entire life. He is currently serving as the Chairman of The Citizens Levy Review Committee for Lucas County.

All who know Tom are aware of his commitment to his family as well as his commitment to God and Country. Tom is not afraid to speak his mind or act on the courage of his convictions. Tom believes the way to achieve true success politically is to be able to communicate your position with enough fact and logic to clearly build the necessary support of your colleagues. Without the ability to build a consensus, successful direction is unattainable regardless of quality of the cause.

Dennis Walendzak

Dennis Walendzak is serving his first term on Oregon City Council. Currently, he is chairman of the Drainage, Roads, Buildings and Lands Committee and serves on both the Economic Development & Planning and the Recreation and Parks Committees.

Dennis was born and raised in Oregon, Ohio and is married to Chris and they have two children, Alyson and Carter. Dennis is a 1990 graduate of Clay High School and attended the University of Findlay and Miami University. Dennis is an environmental consultant and waste broker for Environmental Management Services, and he is a member of the Oregonian Club.
